剧情简介
电影改编自Colin Escott所著的汉克·威廉姆斯的自传，故事将围绕着乡村音乐巨星威廉姆斯的声名鹊起之过程以及29岁的猝死。故事舞台设置在二战后的美国阿拉巴马州，21岁的汉克·威廉姆斯相比缺少演唱才能的妻子Audrey Mae（伊丽莎白·奥尔森 饰），已经成为了当地电台和酒吧俱乐部的红人。他的演唱事业由Audrey和他的妈妈Lillie（切莉·琼斯 饰）经营，但显然两个女人的相处并不融洽。这与Audrey的表现关系不大，而是汉克的妈妈似乎不喜欢他身边的任何女人。相同的矛盾也发生在了汉克的第二任妻子Billie Jean Jones（马蒂·海森 饰）和他的女朋友Bobbi Jett（Wrenn Schmidt 饰）身上。。程小敏五年未归娘家，年初二满心期待带女儿刘翠翠踏上探亲路。婆婆面露难色，却反复念叨“团圆饭要一家人整整齐齐”。When a group of old college friends, now in their 30s, gather over Christmas at their recently deceased friend's remote mountain cabin to celebrate his life, they see it as an opportunity to come together as the cohesive unit they once were.
