该剧讲述了因一起尘封旧案而结怨的模拟画像师沈翊和刑警队长杜城，在机缘巧合下被迫搭档，两人联手侦破多起离奇疑案，共同追踪谜底真相的故事。。台湾青年初到大陆，因价值观与习惯不同，为一枚硬币的丢失，与老会计发生了一系列矛盾冲突，以及与女友之间发生一系列情感纠葛。由于阴差阳错和误入歧途，导致冲突步步升级，从最初的五分钱竟然升级到涉及几千万差点就是几千亿的债务纠纷……荒诞而又啼笑皆非的故事中，刻画出大量鲜活有趣的人物形象。在贯穿始终的幽默搞笑中体现小人物的艰辛与人生冷暖。。Kathy is married to Peter.
