该片以解放战争前夕的赤城县为背景，共产党和国民党围绕一幅军事藏火图引发了无数曲折的故事。该剧主人公是生活在赤城的德高望重的孟三爷，在一个偶然机会得到一张军事藏火图，由此展开了一连串惊险刺激的经历。共产党地下党与国民党特务队为争夺宝图进行了巧妙周旋。。When a casino owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy to prep his retaliation. He also stumbles on to an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins。
