一名侦探小说作家躺在医院病榻上构思新作情节：一名愤世嫉俗的私家侦探一到夜晚摇身一变成为乐团主唱歌手，故事主人翁被卷入1950年代洛杉矶一宗妓女凶杀案，随着病情加剧，他渐渐无法分辨故事与现实，精神状态陷入疯狂边缘……。A seemingly trivial case of a small carpentry business that has gone bankrupt under mysterious circumstances gets Mads' attention. Claudia is released after one and a half years in prison but her son is in Paris and the only work she can find is at a coffee shop. But then she gets a visit from Energreen's old chairman, Mr. Christensen.
