2008年，一群来自丹麦和欧洲各地的人在丹麦领土上实施了有史以来最大的抢劫。卡斯帕是一名生命中几乎没有机会的拳击手，他有机会由外国发起人策划抢劫。冒着失去家人和对他来说重要的一切的风险，他接受了挑战，试图打破所有记录，确保自己在历史书上的地位。。阳光明媚的樱花新镇上空，突然出现了一条硕大无比的鲸鱼。它张开大嘴，发出震耳欲聋的鸣叫。更加诡异的是，当鸣叫声过后，天野景太（户松遥配音）和妖怪管家维斯帕（关智一配音）发现自己竟然从二次元变成了三次元的模样。一拉就会疼的头发、手臂上细密的纹路、清晰可见的汗毛孔，前所未有的体验让景太惊诧不已。更有甚者，连维斯帕、地缚猫（小樱悦子配音）也变成了三次元的状态。之后的时间，他们频繁穿梭于二次元和三次元两个世界，追查着这场大混乱的原因和幕后黑手…… 本片根据同名手游改编。。Plebs is described as "a thoroughly modern comedy in an ancient setting."
