In the new series where it’s always summer, MP (Cunningham) and Jer (Jackson) are employees at a pool cleaning company called Agua Donkeys...。Robert Karow ermittelt nach dem Tod seiner Kollegin Nina Rubin in diesem Fall solo: Ein Mann in Karows Alter wird in einem Waldstück tot aufgefunden. Er starb durch einen Schuss in den Kopf. Alles am Tatort deutet auf eine Milieu-Hinrichtung hin, wie Karow sofort feststellt, obwohl er für den Fall nicht zuständig ist. Doch Karow kennt den Toten, Maik Balthasar, aus Jugendzeiten...。盛唐年间万妖当道，天师府掌门无尘子为保天下苍生，以自身元神封印妖王沐风，企图感化妖王。岂料沐风心爱之人花妖风四娘寻仇而来，血洗天师府。无尘子万般无奈之下，将其灵魄及妖王妖元转入钟馗体内。天性半人半妖、亦善亦恶的钟馗，面对与天师府无尘子的师徒情谊，妖界的引诱要挟，一念成神 ，一念成妖，究竟该如何抉择？。
