某天，鱼从海洋中消失了。 水产省启动了很早以前就开始筹划的 “宇宙鱼塘”的试验运用。 尾道设立了“尾道宇宙渔业团”， 并培育出了宇宙渔师。 近年来，随着男女雇用机会均等法的强化， “女性也可以成为渔师”的呼声高涨， 在这种状况下，6名新进宇宙渔师候补生被选拔出来。 舞台是尾道，目标是宇宙。 这是描写以宇宙渔师为目标的6人成长的故事。。影片讲述三位海外游子将母亲遗体送返故乡入土为安的故事。三兄妹出生于伊拉克的库尔德地区，却在德国长大。他们想要完成母亲的遗愿——将母亲的遗体运回老家，和他们死于战场的父亲葬在一起。在返乡的旅途中，三兄妹不仅要解决库尔德大家族拒绝自己母亲与父亲合葬的问题，也要面对他们各自的问题。近年来，他们家人之间的距离愈行愈远，大家都过着自己的生活，每次谈话，基本上都会互相指责……。Cultural and intergenerational trauma erupt in this story about two sisters on the outskirts of Paris.
