剧情简介
影片讲述了一个家庭和当地居民努力挽救一只英雄狗狗Semper的真实故事。在这个家庭中，父亲是陆战队上尉，母亲是全职主妇，还有他们15岁的女儿和儿子以及一个早熟的6岁女儿。这个家庭难以承担Semper的手术费用。大女儿想出了一个主意，举行社区义卖活动。在基金募集过程中，一些暴躁的邻居还闹出了一点不愉快和意外。最后终于凑足了手术费，在进行手术前，Semper表现出它一贯的英雄气概。。If ghosts can think and remember who they are, then the physical brain is not the only place where we store our inner selves. Helen is asked to train two young women into the art of communicating with the dead. But Helen's days as a medium are long gone.
