哈姆太郎是一只具有永无止境好奇心的黄金鼠，它是一位小学五年级的小女生春名露--小露的宠物。有一天哈姆太郎跟着小露她们搬到新家，基于好奇，哈姆太郎展开了对新环境的冒险，认识了“大老板”还有“哆哆”，经由大老板的介绍，哈姆太郎认识了更多的哈姆伙伴，并在大老板的家中...。The movie is based on the suspense short film nominated for the Golden Méliès to the Best European Fantastic Short Film, winner of more than 30 awards and screened by more than 200 film festivals.
