三个大学生到山中小屋度假，却从此失去了联系，警方根据他们遗留在溪边的摄影机，转拷成一卷关键录影带，试图从影像寻找线索进而找寻三人的下落。画面显示大学生走到荒山野岭后，发现了一件8岁女孩沾着血迹的洋装，而后竟然出现失踪女童的影像，还拍到了被烧焦的头发，还有更多令人不寒而慄的影像，单纯的失踪人口桉件瞬间发展成为连环谋杀桉…警方马不停蹄的试图从影像中拼凑出线索，希望还有机会能救出他们…。Jan and Gedda have been married to each other for a long time in the Beentjes of Sint-Hildegard.
