Six months after her life unraveled and dark secrets were revealed, Molly is confined to a psychiatric hospital when she learns of bizarre deaths that sound eerily similar to those she witnessed in space. When she escapes to investigate, she crosses paths with JD Richter, a determined cop who just signed on to the case. Jeffrey Dean Morgan joins the cast as JD Richter.。迪士尼于2008年开始推出《奇妙仙子》系列作品，首先计划推出的四部作品刚好分别就是春夏秋冬四季的故事，后来迪士尼决定继续延续此一系列，第五部作品的计划就此展开。后来迪士尼甚至决定将这部《奇妙仙子》系列作品首度尝试以ＴＶ电影首播的方式推出，因此本片推出问世的时间甚至还早于较早计划的冬天故事
