剧情简介

In his starring debut Roy gets elected to congress in order to bring water to the ranchers in his district. In Washington he learns he needs the backing of a key congressman and gets that man to go west for an inspection trip. When the Congressman is initally unimpressed, Roy gets the inspection party stranded without water to show the true conditions.。座頭市はヤクザ同士の喧嘩で、朝五郎という百姓に味方する親分の人柄に惚れるが、数ヵ月後に再会した朝五郎は百姓たちを苦しめる悪徳ヤクザになっていた……。三國連太郎が屈折したヤクザの親分役を巧演する。「戦争と人間」（1970～73）、「不毛地帯」（1976）などで知られる巨匠・山本薩夫が演出にあたった一編。。
