一系列外星球体降落在地球上，轻而易举地摧毁了它们所经过的一切，科学家和美国总统必须找到阻止外星人入侵的方法。。A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry.
