女演员前往葡萄牙亚速尔群岛，与剧团共同排演莎士比亚的《暴风雨》。在经历了一次奇异事件后，她发现岛上居民的行为变得诡异而不可捉摸。神秘女孩艾莉尔出现，引领她穿行于这个梦境与现实、幽灵与自然交错的空间，仿佛置身一场没有尽头的舞台剧。电影以莎翁经典剧作《暴风雨》中的精灵艾莉尔为出发点，融合莎士比亚其他作品的主题与文本，探讨自由与想象、演出与真实之间的模糊边界。导演帕提诺通过岛屿景观与舞台语言的交织，思考自然如何成为诗句的延伸，也质问人类在表演与存在中的自由与束缚。。BotBots are Transformer robots that disguise themselves as everyday mall objects.
