剧情简介
秦香莲的丈夫陈世美进京赶考，数年无音信。适逢家乡连遭荒旱，公婆饿死，香莲带领儿女进京寻夫。到京后，得知陈世美考中状元，并招为驸马。陈世美寿诞之日，香莲闯宫而入，陈竟昧心不认，反将香莲母子三人赶出宫去。三朝元老王延龄得知此情后，教香莲假扮唱歌词的村妇，在酒席宴前借唱戏陈，陈仍不相认，并将香莲赶出京城，暗中命家将韩琪前往杀害，以灭口。韩琪追至庙中，听香莲哭告实情，不忍杀害，毅然将香莲母子放走，自感难以复命，自刎而死。香莲悲愤已极，前往包拯处控告，包公准状后，召陈世美来与香莲对质，陈世美自恃皇亲国戚，强词狡辩。皇姑、国太也来威胁。包拯不畏权势，将陈铡死。。Andie MacDowell stars as a famous actor who goes incognito to seek treatment for a medical issue.
