剧情简介
2009年，老兵孙厚成一边捏面引子来蒸馒头，一边回忆着1949年国共战争爆发，参与军队的厚成离开了家乡、母亲和妻子祖宁。来到台湾后发现返乡遥遥无期，只好另组家庭定居于台。 直到台湾的妻子过世后，厚成带着女儿到大陆，见到了当年离乡而尚未出世的儿子家望，但是妻子祖宁已过世，儿子家望直至今日无法谅解为何父亲迟迟没有返乡，厚成因此抱憾回台。 十年后，厚成中风，家望得知消息赶紧带着女儿来台见父亲最后一面，经历了一甲子的分离，大家终于抛开误会，好好地团聚一起，厚成最后也在梦中回到了那个让他一再思念的故土…。After the relatively low box office takings of 'Intolerance', D. W. Griffith would revisit his epic film three years later by releasing two of the film's interlocking stories as standalone features, with some new additional footage. The first of the two was 'The Fall of Babylon', which depicts the conflict between Prince Belshazzar of Babylon and Cyrus the Great of Persia.。
