该片讲述1930年7月，毛泽东、朱德率领红一军团从汀州向长沙进军途中，来到高安，开展土地革命。高安女子学校的6名富家女子毅然放弃了家中的优越生活，决定参军，随后跟随着毛泽东、朱德、周恩来转战南北，参加长征，成为“巾帼英雄”的故事。。After ten years abroad, Catherine returns to Luxembourg to catch up with her daughter Alba, brought up by Catherine's mother Elisabeth.
