粟一柯高考落榜后，一直游手好闲，母亲命令他在家复读。粟一柯的舅公因为性格古怪而被房东赶了出来，无处落脚，母亲无奈将其收留。三个人生活在同一屋檐下，开始了一段无可奈何的生活……。Kalakalappu is a story of two brothers and their quest to save their café.
