从半年前起，不畅销的小说家道间慎（野田洋次郎饰）和突如其来的五位美女一起开始了同居生活。这五人女人年龄从十几岁到30岁不等，每月支付他一百万日元的生活费，条件是对于她们的身世和一切行动，他完全不能过问。她们究竟是抱着何种目的在此生活、她们究竟是什么人，以及她们平时都做些什么，道间慎一点点地解开这些谜题。就在他开始感到和这五个人在一起生活很幸福时，发生了一件足以毁掉他全部生活的事情……。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
