In this powerful documentary, Mama Yang, an 84-year-old woman living in New York, finds herself in correspondence with 45 high security prison inmates she views as her own children. Most are Chinese American immigrants, and see in Mama Yang a mother figure they never knew before they stepped through prison walls. For Mama Yang though, the story is about more than Christian char...。绵亘十年的文革动乱，改变了无数人的命运。相应领导人号召上山下乡的知识青年们，历经磨难总算等到返城的那一天，但是美丽的陈涵秋（刘威葳 饰）却经历着人生中最为苦难的时刻。涵秋出身知识分子家庭，父亲不忍受辱“畏罪自杀”，她则因黑五类的身份在乡下备受歧视。在此关头，她怀孕的消息引来无数的争议，而一直爱恋他的平民子弟袁刚（于和伟 饰）则挺身而出，担当起保护涵秋的重任。这对出身背景全然不同的男女，就这样被命运连在了一起。而当婚后的生活平稳推进时，与两人一同下乡的同学李劲松（刘钧 饰）——同时也是真正让涵秋怀有身孕的男人突然出现。 此去经年，亲情、友情、爱情……种种情感，将这群命运多舛的人紧紧绑在了一起……。
